Terrorist group "Islamic State" has claimed responsibility for the attack in the town of El-Arish, located in the north of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.
On Monday, January 9, the terrorists attacked a military post in the Egyptian town of El Arish.
Militants blew up a car packed with explosives.
The car was near the military post.
After the explosion, they opened fire at the military post.
As a result of the attack nine people of the security forces in Egypt were killed.
