A dramatic twist in Uruguay: Justice gives Pfizer 48 hours to reveal the chemical content of its anti-Covid vaccine
The Uruguayan Justice demanded on July 4 that the terms of the contracts signed with Pfizer be made public within 48 hours and that the American laboratory provide the chemical components of its vaccine.
Trouble begins for Pfizer in Latin America. While a new Covid wave is announced in almost all European countries, the American giant is risking a lot in South America where the justice of a country demands that it reveal the contents of its vaccine. This is at least the information that our media obtained this Monday from several reliable sources.
Indeed, according to the Telesur media , Uruguayan justice demanded on Monday July 4 that the government of this country reveal the contracts signed with the American pharmaceutical giant. According to information obtained by this media, the decision of judge Alejandro Recarey is explained by a complaint filed by parents who demand transparency before their children are vaccinated.
“The magistrate asks to know the terms of the negotiation and whether there are any indemnity or impunity clauses. At the same time, the decree requires the disclosure of information on the biochemical composition of vaccines against the Coronavirus”, reports Telesur.
The information was confirmed by the Uruguayan media , M24.com.uy. According to this source, this Wednesday, July 6 at 9:00 am, the country's health authorities are summoned to explain the terms of the contracts signed with Pfizer, but also on the content of the vaccine which will soon be administered to children in this country.
It must be said that if justice were to reveal the terms of the agreements signed with Pfizer, it would be a blow for the American laboratory which categorically refuses to provide any information on its vaccines. Moreover, this is one of the conditions it imposes on States.
In any case, barely revealed, the case is already starting to make a lot of noise on social networks.
