Pfizer-EU COVID Vaccine Deal Messages Mysteriously Disappears

There are significant risks and problems associated with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccines. The latest questionable event surrounding the vaccine is that the Pfizer-EU COVID vaccine deal messages just mysteriously disappeared.

The European Commission acknowledged that communications between Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla have vanished in a letter (read below) sent to its internal watchdog organization, the European Ombudsman, on Wednesday.

The revelation comes in the midst of concerns around a possible multibillion-dollar agreement between Pfizer and the European Union (EU) for COVID vaccinations.

EU Justice Commissioner Vera Jourova said in the letter, “The Commission can confirm that the search undertaken by the President’s cabinet for relevant text messages corresponding to the request for access to documents has not yielded any results.” Von der Leyen and Bourla exchanged SMS while a deal for COVID vaccinations was being finalized, which was disclosed in May 2021. According to Von der Leyen’s account to The New York Times, she and Bourla were discussing the agreement over text messages.

Following a journalist’s denial of a freedom of information request for the texts, Emily O’Reilly of the European Ombudsman concluded that the Commission had not made any effort to locate the documents. Later, the Commission claimed that because the documents were “short-lived,” it did not think they were subject to EU transparency laws. O’Reilly accused the commission of “maladministration” following the “Deletegate” event and requested that they do another search for the communications.

The letter states that the texts were formerly in von der Leyen’s possession but are now lost, and it asserts that “Due to their short-lived and ephemeral nature, text and instant messages in general do not contain important information relating to policies, activities and decisions of the commission.” To prevent disclosure issues in the future, the Commission also indicated that it would “issue further guidance on modern communication tools” to avoid transparency problems in future and maintained that its actions were “in line with the applicable legislation and the relevant case law on access to documents.”

O’Reilly responded to the letter by saying it was “problematic on several points.” According to The Guardian, O’Reilly declined to speak further while a report on the investigation was being drafted and is expected to be published in July.

Several EU member states had supported the agreement between the EU and Pfizer. However, a number of member nations questioned the agreement due to falling vaccination rates and concerns that the doses would go to waste.

There are significant risks and problems associated with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccines. According to studies, male fertility considerably declines in the months following the Pfizer vaccine, and teenage boys are far more likely to experience heart inflammation. The World Health Organization recommended against routinely immunizing kids with the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 in January.

Additionally, Pfizer has asserted that because of government contracts, it is free from transparency requirements for vaccination trials. Last year, the COVID vaccination generated an estimated $37 billion for the corporation.

Despite objections, the EU voted to continue its COVID passport program on Monday.
