Bill Gates Wants To Read Your Brainwaves To Mine Cryptocurrency
Bill Gates owned Microsoft has proposed a way to use your brainwaves to mine cryptocurrency. The application explains how brain activity and personal biometric data of an individual can be used to generate cryptocurrency.
A new patent (read below) titled “Cryptocurrency System Using Body Activity Data” describes how a person can mine cryptocurrency by attaching sensors to his body.
BTC mining usually involves devoting computer processing power to solve complex mathematical issues.
It lists 28 different concepts for the way the system can be used to generate cryptocurrency.
These ways may be engaging with an AI, visiting a website, chat bot, browsing social media and more.
This patent sets out another way to mine cryptocurrency by instead doing it via a “human body activity associated with a task” and track result with biometric sensor.
“For example, a brain wave or body heat emitted from the user when the user performs the task provided by an information service provider, such as viewing an advertisement or using certain internet services, can be used in the mining process,” the patent explains.
“Instead of massive computation work required by some conventional cryptocurrency systems, data generated based on the body activity of the user can be proof-of-work, and therefore, a user can solve the computationally difficult problem unconsciously.”
This system will involve hooking up a device to many sensors on the body. These sensors can detect the activity needed of the user to mine BTC or other cryptocurrency.
Some sensors that can be used to monitor the activity may include infrared sensors, heart rate, heat cameras and MRI scanners.
Apart from body heat and brain waves, some other activities like organ activity and body fluid flow will also be monitored.
Researchers have confirmed that the human brain continues working even after the death of a person. That seems a zombie-like behaviour, but researchers have found a non-zombie logic behind this phenomenon.
Meanwhile, a research team in Germany has achieved great success conducting experiments to create false memories in people’s minds and then erase them.
