King Charles Reveals He’s Related To Dracula
Vlad III, a bloodthirsty ruler over what was then Wallachia, murdered thousands of people, mostly by impalement. And now, King Charles reveals that he’s related to Dracula.
The King has revealed to actor Luke Evans that his ancestors are tied to Vlad Dracula.
When the Hobbit actor originally met His Majesty, who at the time was Prince of Wales, he had just completed the 2014 movie Dracula Untold, reports The US Sun.

The 43-year-old actor portrayed a fictionalized version of Vlad III, a monarch of Romania in the 15th century who was also known as Vlad the Impaler, Vlad Tepes, and Vlad Dracula.
Vlad transforms into a vampire in the film.
On The Jonathan Ross Show, Luke said the following: “I remember the first time I spoke to Charles. I was super nervous.
“He came up to me and said, ‘What are you working on?’ and I said, ‘I’ve just finished a movie about Vlad, who turns into Dracula.’ And he went ‘Funnily enough, I’m related to Vlad Tepes.’
“I thought he was joking, but went through his lineage to Vlad.”

Dracula was the title chosen by 19th-century author Bram Stoker for his book. The role was portrayed by Christopher Lee in movies.
King Charles is a great grandson of Vlad III, 16 times removed.
Through his great-grandmother Queen Mary, who was the bride of George V, he can trace his ancestry to Vlad IV, the notorious tyrant’s half-brother.
