Russia spills the beans: “the goal of the United States is to weaken Europe militarily and deindustrialize it”
Is the war in Ukraine the opportunity so dreamed of by the United States to weaken Europe in order to remain eternally the policeman of the Western world? The question arises following the new exit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Indeed, in an interview relayed by the Russian media Tass , the head of Russian diplomacy believes that Washington is trying to make the European economy weaker. “More and more economists, not just in Russia but in the West, have come to the conclusion that the United States is seeking to exhaust and deindustrialize the European economy,” he says.
And to add: “the Germans are relocating a large part of their production chains to the United States with all the consequences that this implies for Europe. It is in Washington's interest to weaken Europe militarily, to keep it on the alert, to flood Ukraine with weapons and to fill Europe's military stockpiles with American weapons”.
For Lavrov, in this war between Ukraine and Russia, the Europeans are the biggest losers. “Europeans suffer much more than the United States from economic sanctions,” he says. It should be emphasized that Lavrov's remarks were made less than three days after the exit of Viktor Orban, Hungarian Prime Minister (EU member state), who very recently made it known that in this war against Russia, Europe is fell into its own trap.
"We hatched a plan and dug a hole for Russia, but we fell into it," he admitted. And to add: “the European Union proposes that we dig this hole further while Hungary proposes that we get out of it”. In the interview, the very controversial Hungarian Prime Minister confirms that his country has signed long-term contracts with Russia to supply gas.
